April 2011 – Of all places Sea World is one of Carolyn’s favorite sites to visit, yet each time we visit it seems as though we’re just zipping around from one show to another.  Once we saw the dolphin, sea lion, and Shamu shows (which took the greater part of the day), we called it quits, played some carnival games (burning through 2 large buckets of rings on an impossible ring toss, but scoring 3 large prizes on the frog catapult).  The weather was gorgeous and the sunset we enjoyed on Mission Beach striking up a pose in the last minutes of sunlight for a family picture on the beach.  You can see the struggle we have to get a good one, but I think we captured it finally quite well as seen below.
