05 – Moon Gazing

By , May 30, 2009 8:23 pm

We went outside for some after dinner chalk drawing and Mikey pointed out the moon in the sky.  We busted out the telescope that has gotten little use, and I tested out the newer Canon 70-300 mm USM IS Telephoto Zoom Lens that I picked up on a super slick deal.  Granted the telescope (900 mm) could see a lot better than the camera could record (I even tried to take a picture through they eye piece), but the camera did a pretty good job picking up the image anyhow.
