Getting Ready for Baby

34 weeks pregnant and I think I am finally starting to feel like I’d better get ready for this new, little guy to come out. Took out all of Michael’s baby clothes to see what we have and came across some newborn diapers. They are so tiny and cute! Can’t believe how tiny newborns are. Then, I went to the store to buy Michael some new shorts and wound up browsing the infant clothing as well. I might have come back with a little collection for baby #2 as well as the shorts for Michael. It was so fun seeing all the little clothes again. I really don’t know what we had Michael in for the first few months of his life. And what we do have is pretty used. Well, here are the little outfits I bought.

Can you believe all the clothes plus Michael’s 3 pairs of shorts all totaled only $20.00. Impressive savings, I have to admit. Bought them from a used store, but I love it because at least half of the newborn clothes still have original store tags on them. Can’t find that as much with the 2 year old outfits, but with the newborn and 1-3 months there were quite a few still brand new. Nice. So that was my little shopping spree and now I feel a little more prepared for this new little one. I also picked up some diapers, just in case we have an early arrival. But I think the latter is just wishful thinking.

Nice deal! We had a great time Friday – you should lock your keys in your car more often!!! Thanks for lunch too – much appreciated.

I don’t know if you got all that loot at the children’s exchange, but your post reminded me of how great that place is…I’ll miss it! Good luck for the next few weeks!

I got the stuff from Once Upon a Child…I think that’s the name of it. What’s the children’s exchange? Another store around here? Guess there are still some places I haven’t been around here. Great.
