Twinkle Twinkle
I constantly find Michael singing or humming to himself around the house. It is just so cute and I absolutely love it. His favorite song is Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and I’ve been trying to get it recorded forever now. Every time I bring out the camera to record him he either grabs the camera, runs away, or refuses to sing. I guess the other day we did get an audio recording of it through a mic hooked up to the computer, but it just wasn’t the same without the video. Tonight, however, I think we got some wonderful footage of him singing his heart out to Twinkle Twinkle and Once There Was A Snowman. If you listen carefully, you can see he nails a few of the words, but mostly he’s just jabbering while singing.
Here he is singing with Daddy. When he sees the guitar light turn on he gets really excited and I’m guessing he thinks the game is starting or something. This is the first time Dan and I have seen him do this. I don’t think he’s ever watched us play but he did watch a few of my piano students playing Guitar Hero the other day and this must have been what he thought they looked like.
Then here he is singing 2 more songs while pretending to play the guitar after repositioning in front of the couch- where he saw my students stand while playing the game the other day. It’s crazy what they pick up on, isn’t it? Hope you enjoy hearing him sing as much as I do.
