Majestic Day
Loading ...I am amazed at how beautiful it is when it is snowing. It snowed all day long today and it was just so peaceful and majestic. This is not to say that I love it when the snow is left over on the streets for days afterwards and it is -16 degrees F outside a few days beforehand, but as I took Dan to school this afternoon and was driving home in a quiet car (Michael feel asleep in the backseat) I just had to marvel at how beautiful falling snow is. And for that I think I can put up with a long, cold winter.

We’re sure having a cold winter here! We got another 8 inches of snow yesterday–on top of the 4-5″ that were still there from the last storm. It’s never gotten warm enough to melt. We have a huge pile of snow at the edge of the driveway where John cleared the path from the driveway into the street, and then shoveled a clearing for Sarah to park in, in front of the house. Her car looks like it’s parked between two icebergs–because of the pile on the other side of her space as well.
